In honor of my mother, Ginger’s, birthday, we’re flashing back today to, well … the exact date isn’t important.
Isn’t it a fun picture?
She may weigh in with a different view. I know, for example, that that snazzy bow has a less-than-thrilling back story.
I don’t know what the occasion for this photo was, but as with so many of the old pictures we have, I love all the little details: the skirt pleats, buttons on the jacket, one sleeve of her blouse peeking below the jacket sleeve, the expression that says, “I wish I was anywhere but here”!
Join me in wishing her a fabulous day today.
Happy birthday, Mom!

Gorgeous picture! Happy Birthday!

Posted by Terri S. Vanech | October 10, 2014, 8:51 pmDisheveled, discombobulated, misaligned, mismatched and unhinged. And old. Very, VERY OLD! But other than that I’m doing just fine!

Posted by Terri S. Vanech | October 10, 2014, 8:29 amThanks! And all these years later I’m still disheveled! And I still have the knobby knees….only now they’re full of arthritis! (Sigh)
Posted by murphyslaw | October 10, 2014, 7:31 amStop it! You are not disheveled!
