Flashback Friday — Ghosts of Halloween Past

Happy Halloween!

Catherine has been celebrating all week. Tuesday, she dressed as a nerd for a sorority party.

The nerd and Danielle.

The nerd and Danielle.

Her suite mate, Danielle, helped with the costume.

Tonight, she plans to be a scarecrow (Danielle is doing her makeup). Are you sensing a pattern here?

Tomorrow, she’s wearing the Hooter’s costume I told you about.

At least I don’t have to argue with her about wearing a coat over her costume. It’s her problem to sort out.

Here’s a look at some of her costumes over the years.

Oh baby! Last year, for Senior Dressup Day.

Cat costume. Last year.

Catherine’s Cat costume. Junior year.

Which witch? Age 6, I think. (A good mother would have all these properly labeled.)

Maybe 8 here? There was a lot of haggling over the midriff. She went out with a top under it.

Princess Catherine. She’s 4 here. Another fabulous costume by Grandma.

Catherine as Piglet with Basil. She's 3 here.

Catherine as Spaghetti and Meatballs. Third grade. Still the best costume. Ever.
