Throwback Thursday — Boo to You!

Happy Halloween!

Not sure what year this is. It's me, on the left, and my sister, Traci, many Halloweens ago.

Here’s a look back at one of my old costumes. Not sure what year this is, but I remember being very excited about wearing the earrings — and the wings! Can you see the wings in the picture?

I can see, too, Mom has us both bundled up against the fall chill under our getups.

The next year, Traci wore the same costume (earrings, too!) and I was a bum. By then, we’d started to move on to raiding the closets for our costumes.

Today, Catherine has a halo and angel wings waiting to wear while answering the door later and I’m going to try not to eat my weight in candy while I work.

Hope you, too, unleash a bit of your inner child.

  1. I have my purple witches hat and black dress to wear tonight. The Halloween tree is decorated. The candy is still in its bag. We get about 5 kids on a big year because they can get more candy for less effort going to the condos or a more dense neighborhood. I am hoping that Will brings Charlie over! If they can get her into a costume… She’s not into Halloween at all yet!

    Love the wings and earrings.
