In honor of snowquester (here in Connecticut we escaped with just about 4 inches and yet another snow day that we must repay on April break) I give you this:
Seagull Beach in Cape Cod, August 2003. Catherine was 7; Basil was far less … gray, and I think those swim trunks have shrunk in the years since.
I like winter and am a big fan of the snow, but about now, it’d be nice to feel some sand between my toes.
I have almost the same comment as Karen W! My birthday plans are tomorrow, but today I was supposed to get my son from college….snowed in with about 12″ of wet, heavy, cement-like, heart attack causing, messy, disgusting…….
snow.
Gah.
Gonna hunt down that groundhog and make him pay!
Nice photo, though…
You’re lucky! We got about 12″ up here!! So much for my birthday plans. Instead of lunch and dinner out, and a day at Sturbridge tomorrow, we’re home making our own dinner. Bummer!! But I appreciate the beach picture. It reminds me that summer will come eventually.
