In honor of snowquester (here in Connecticut we escaped with just about 4 inches and yet another snow day that we must repay on April break) I give you this:
Seagull Beach in Cape Cod, August 2003. Catherine was 7; Basil was far less … gray, and I think those swim trunks have shrunk in the years since.
I like winter and am a big fan of the snow, but about now, it’d be nice to feel some sand between my toes.

I have almost the same comment as Karen W! My birthday plans are tomorrow, but today I was supposed to get my son from college….snowed in with about 12″ of wet, heavy, cement-like, heart attack causing, messy, disgusting…….
snow.
Gah.
Gonna hunt down that groundhog and make him pay!
Nice photo, though…
Posted by momshieb | March 8, 2013, 8:51 pmYou’re lucky! We got about 12″ up here!! So much for my birthday plans. Instead of lunch and dinner out, and a day at Sturbridge tomorrow, we’re home making our own dinner. Bummer!! But I appreciate the beach picture. It reminds me that summer will come eventually.
