One of my best memories of Greenwich was Easter at the beach. A group of us would spend the night at a friend’s house near Binney Park, and walk to the beach in the dark for sunrise service. It was always an interesting crowd — some were finishing up an evening of partying with the service, some were half asleep still. But always moving and impressive, more so than the service in church that I attended later that morning.
I’ve never been to that service but now you have me curious….
