Outhouse Orchards, North Salem , NY
Pears for the pickin’.
Basil, after the picking was done.
We did this a couple weeks ago, but ours doesn’t have pears. We are going to do pumpkins on Tuesday!
We have a large orchard not far from here, and the trees are bending down with the weight of the apples this year. That’s a good thing for the orchard because they’ve had a few bad years. Time to stop in and get some cider. I love driving by them at this time of the year; the smell of the apples is so strong!
The ones we picked are terrific.
We had a MG meeting yesterday at a farm where we picked apples after the meeting. There was a huge crop this year. 🙂
They are great this year! Have fun baking!
