  1. Although it’s been a long time, but when I first saw your photos it reminded me a bit of place in Chattanooga, Tennessee (about 2-hrs south of Knoxville). In fact that’s where I thought this was until I read your caption. Are those fire torches in the water? What are the dome shaped objects in the water? Have a fototastic day!

    • Those bowl-shaped things are essentially fire pits, which are lighted several times throughout the summer. Beautiful to look at. And there’s music and dancing, different performances, etc. A great big street fair in the whole of the city. We have good friends who live nearby and have gone with them a couple of times over the years.

  2. Great shots! I’ve always enjoyed being by the waterfront and when you add in some sort of a show – fireworks? – it’s even better.

    Stopping by from Image-in-ing!

  5. We’ve actually seen this one time a few years back, and it was wonderful. 🙂
