Snow Fun

Growing up, I lived next door to an alcoholic man who shoveled the leaves and raked the snow.

(He did some other crazy things, too, but those are stories for another day.)

Naturally, his antics provided for a bit of entertaining conversation in our house.

This morning, if our neighbors were looking out their windows, they had a similar kind of moment.

Basil, ever the lover of a gadget that will keep him from performing hard labor, set out to tackle the dusting of snow that’s fallen over the past hour.

Still cladย his PJs, and wearing the jacket that 50 lbs. ago made him look like a tomato, he used the leaf blower to clear the walk, driveway and cars.

Let it blow, let it blow, let it blow.

Let it blow, let it blow, let it blow.

If this keeps up, I may need to move.
