Laughing his way through 59 years

Happy birthday to my husband, Basil, 59 years young today, or as I’ve been reminding him, “pushing 60!”

Those of you who know him will agree the world is a better place with him in it for a whole host of reasons, not the least of which is that he keeps us laughing.

Below are just a few of his memorable moments.

Let’s see how much birthday attention we can garner for him!

Join me in wishing him many, many more years by sharing and commenting on this post.

Like riding a bike: To the delight of the kids, Basil remembered some chords. Now we've got to get his guitar down so he can jam with James. From left: Lily, who danced to all the music; Basil; James; and Isabelle.

We thought this section of Greenwich Avenue in Greenwich, CT, might have been closed to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Alas, it was for a fashion event that took place while we were eating dinner out. No matter, one of Greenwich's finest was kind enough to snap this shot of us hamming it up.
