The weather here in Southwestern Connecticut flirted this week with a bit of summer and naturally got me thinking about the beach.
This photo never fails to make me smile. Taken in the summer of 1997, Catherine was just over a year old and not sure she wanted to TOUCH the sand.
Love those chunky arms and legs — and that I was then still in charge of choosing her outfits.
She will not forgive me for posting, I’m sure!
