Today I present my own trip down memory lane. Once you get a look at it, you’ll understand why this post couldn’t wait until Wednesday.
And also why there are few words to be said about this image.
Except to note that this is a photo of Basil, taken on our honeymoon in Nantucket, MA, in September 1993.
I really do not know what possessed him to pose this way, and I cannot remember how much he had to drink.

And didn’t he say at the time that the two of you would come back on your 20th anniversary and he would strike the same pose?!! (Coming up this September by the way). I am good at math…
