Wordless Wednesday — Walkway Over the Hudson

Walkway Over the Hudson, Poughkeepsie, NY. We walked across and back. 

The walkover. It was once a bridge for freight trains. Now it’s a New York State park.

Looking south at the Mid-Hudson Bridge. At left, where the boat launch juts out at the foot of the river walk, is the Ice House, a waterfront spot where we had lunch after our aerial stroll.
