Flashback Friday — Kissing Cousins

I love a picture that tells a story, and this one is about a love affair.

Catherine, 3; and Nicky, 4.

It’s Catherine, age 3, and her cousin Nicky, then 4.

Both of them are looking at colleges now and I don’t know where time went. Their lives and interests have diverged as happens in life.

But back when this photo was taken, they were inseparable at every family gathering — they simply couldn’t wait to play together.

The picture recently resurfaced as I perused our vast collection of family photos.

It makes me smile. Every time I see it.
