What are you doing with your extra hour this weekend? More time to sleep? A project to tackle? A special 60 minutes just for you and a special someone?
I can’t decide what to do.
Fall cleaning needs doing, but seems like a lame way to spend a precious gift of time. And yet. …
I could bake a pie, whip up some banana bread or turn out a delicious fall meal.
Maybe it’s closet-sorting time; you know, make some room before the holiday decorations take over.
I did buy a few Christmas presents today. I could get some more. Or wrap the ones I have.
Maybe take the annual Catherine Christmas card photo so everyone can see how much she’s grown and then design the card online.
Reading would be a good way to spend time. Two books sit here waiting for my company. And the newspaper seems to travel from doorway to recycling bin practically untouched these days.
A nice long walk at the beach might be nice. Or maybe even a trek around the neighborhood.
Go window-shopping at the mall.
I could learn some extra routines for class this week.
Be extra lazy and stay in my pajamas, or maybe don them very early and hang out on the couch.
I owe some friends nice long catch-up phone calls.
And the Halloween decorations should probably be put away.
It’d be nice if I ironed this pile of clothes. Or attempted to file these papers. Maybe organized some of these loose photographs.
I could challenge Catherine to a game on the Wii, or play cards or mancala.
Watch one of the 34 shows in the DVR queue.
Run some errands … go visiting … do some laundry … organize the linen closet … sort the pantry contents …
Oh! Looks like my time is up. …
