I’m Terri S. Vanech, wife, mother, reunited adoptee and former longtime journalist now working as a communications specialist, and Jazzercise instructor.

Pushing on a Rope is my attempt to make sense of all the chaos life has to offer. Here in midlife, I’m finally learning to live out loud. I hope you’ll share the journey with me.

  1. Glad you became “official”. The train blog always had us laughing. You always know how to express what the rest of us are thinking but afraid to say.

  3. Hi Terri,
I linked to your blog from my fairly new site, Family Ties. I hope you’ll take a look at mine at nanadays.blogspot.com and consider posting a link to mine! I’m working today on a new post about the Vatican scolding the nuns and parallels to the bishops’ stance on adoptee rights. Probably won’t post until tonight or early morning, as we are currently babysitting three of our grandchildren! Enjoy your posts!

  9. I love that phrase “live out loud” — such a perfect description for where women our age are in life’s journey. :)
